January's theme is "Under the Sea" with an emphasis on the artwork of Wyland and the music of Raffi (Down by the Bay). This month, our art time will include experiments with sand painting and also focus on the following:

January 9-12
Sand Art Octupus and Paint-a-Sea Creature
We'll make an adorable little sand-art octupus and paint sea creature magnets this week - fun!

January 16-19
Ocean Scenes and Shell Signs
After making our beautiful ocean-scenes, we will decorate doorknob signs with shells.

January 23-26
Jellyfish Wind Chimes and Shell Bracelets
This week's crafts will include jellyfish wind chimes as well as shell bracelets.

January 30-February 2
Free Art
Free art includes shaving cream painting, stamping fun, trace-a-sea-creature, and the list continues!
